NATIONAL COMPETITIONS
For national competitions (Brack Super League, Swiss Cup) please submit your accreditation request via the SFLAccred portal at least 48 hours before kickoff.
Beginning with the 2023/2024 season, the Swiss Football League has introduced a centralized accreditation system for all matches BSL, DCL and Swiss Cup championships (read the SFL statement).
Journalists will only have access to these matches through this system and no longer through individual requests to the home club. To apply for accreditation, each media outlet must first obtain access to the system from the SFL (SFL Accred (oppsport.com). This must be done no later than 48 hours before kickoff via the address accreditation@sfl.ch.
Journalists can access matches only through this system—individual requests to the home club are no longer accepted. To request accreditation, each media outlet must be granted access to the system by the SFL via SFL Accred (oppsport.com). The request must be submitted at least 48 hours before kickoff via accreditation@sfl.ch. Once registered by the SFL, each media outlet can create individual accounts for its personnel. Once all the details have been entered, a unique ID is created for each person, which can be saved and accessed via the dedicated “SFL Accred” app. The download link for the app is provided by the SFL when the media outlet registers. Once setup is complete, media representatives or registered individuals can request accreditation for CSSL or DCL league matches directly through the centralized, online system. Seasonal accreditations are no longer issued.
General information
- All scheduled league matches are already registered in the system. All you need to do is select the desired match and submit a request.
- The relevant host club processes and responds to the request directly. If the request is accepted, the host club issues confirmation and sends information about the requested services (access rights, seating, Wi-Fi access, etc.) directly, depending on availability.
- The deadline for accreditation requests is 48 hours before kick-off. In the event of a subsequent change to a confirmed accreditation, for example due to a change of name, a notification must be sent directly to the host club's press office (media@fclugano.com).
- The decision to accept or reject a request for accreditation rests with the home club.
- Media representatives who submit their requests correctly and on time (at least 48 hours before kickoff) will receive a DAILY accreditation pass at the Accreditation Desk (main entrance of Cornaredo Stadium, via Trevano) starting 2 hours before kickoff. This accreditation grants access to specific areas of the field, depending on the accredited person’s role (generally: press room, field access to reach the mixed zone, press box and Photographers Area).
- Parking– Please note that due to ongoing construction of the new Sports Arena, parking is not available.
- Attention– Press passes are not automatically considered valid accreditation and do not grant entry to the stadium. At present, only CSSL and DCL league match accreditations can be requested through the SFL’s centralized system. For all questions regarding the new accreditation system, please contact the SFL at accreditation@sfl.ch.accreditation@sfl.ch.
