The fifth edition of the Plan ₿ Forum, the international conference dedicated to Bitcoin, innovation and financial freedom organised by the City of Lugano and Tether, has come to a close. On Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, the Palazzo dei Congressi and the adjacent venues welcomed visitors and over a hundred speakers from all over the world, confirming the event’s role as a European hub for the digital technology and decentralised finance sectors.
Once again this year, FC Lugano took part in the event – for the fourth consecutive year – with its own delegation and an exhibition space inside the Palazzo dei Congressi. The bianconero stand offered visitors a range of football-themed entertainment: from challenges on the EA SPORTS FC 27 gaming stations to Seat Soccer, right through to the traditional FC Lugano-branded table football. Rounding off the experience was the availability of the Club’s official merchandise at the event shop.
Combining games, fun and socialising, the FC Lugano space served as a meeting point between the worlds of football and innovation, enabling the Club to connect with an international audience and raise awareness of its organisation beyond the traditional sporting context.
Participation in the Plan ₿ Forum also reaffirms the strong bond with Leading Partner Lugano’s Plan ₿, whose logo features prominently on the bianconeri match shirts. This partnership is further strengthened through initiatives such as this, which help to enhance Lugano’s image.
