Following yesterday’s medical examinations, the bianconeri’s pre-season training continued today at the AIL Arena with the usual pre-season fitness tests. Under the watchful eye of the performance staff, the squad thus completed their first day of training at their new home, moving between the changing rooms, the gym and the pitch.

The players present carried out a series of individually tailored fitness tests throughout the day. For the team, this also marked their first practical experience of the facilities at the AIL Arena, ahead of the official start of training on the pitch.
Several players from the youth academy also took part in the session, joining the group led by Mattia Croci-Torti ahead of the summer training camp. Delcroix, Pihlstrom and Koutsias were absent; they are due to join the squad in the coming days following their respective commitments with their national teams. They will be joined by the two new South American signings, Beckham Castro and Dereck Moncada, who are expected in Lugano shortly.

SESSION TOMORROW The programme will continue tomorrow in Caslano, at the ‘Roque Maspoli Sports Centre’, where the bianconeri will hold their first training session of the 2026/27 season.
After two days devoted to medical examinations and fitness tests, the team will thus begin training on the pitch ahead of their first pre-season fixtures.
