Following the positive response in recent seasons, FC Lugano On Tour is back for summer 2026. The initiative was created to bring the bianconeri colours to different regions of the canton and strengthen the bond between the team, the local area and its fans.
This year’s format features a significant change. Following the training sessions organised in previous editions, FC Lugano On Tour will now feature three friendly matches in Ticino, transforming the summer fixtures into genuine bianconeri days open to fans, families and supporters.
The first fixture is scheduled for Saturday 27 June at the Stadio Comunale in Giubiasco, where at 10:30 the bianconeri will face Neuchâtel Xamax FC. A week later, on Saturday 4 July, Renato Steffen and his teammates will be at the Losone Sports Ground for the match against FC Rapperswil-Jona (11:00).
The third and final fixture will see FC Lugano head to Balerna. On Friday 17 July, at 8.15 pm, the Stadio Comunale will host a friendly against FC Vaduz, newly promoted to the Brack Super League.
CLOSE TO THE FANS
At all three venues, the match will be accompanied by events designed to give fans a close-up experience of the bianconeri world. Following the friendlies, there will be meet-and-greets with the players and Mattia Croci-Torti, whilst a mobile shop selling the Club’s official merchandise will also be on hand.
FC Lugano will thus be ‘visiting’ its fans throughout the summer, bringing a day of sport, interaction and bianconeri passion to various parts of Ticino. An opportunity to follow the team closely as they prepare for the new season and share some special moments with the players.
