F.C. Lugano SA, the sole shareholder of the new company, is pleased to announce the formation of
Ticino Hospitality Group SA, whose first contract involves taking over and managing all catering operations at the AIL Arena from 1 January 2027. This strategic initiative aims to further enhance the opportunities associated not only with matches hosted at FC Lugano’s new home ground, but also with the events that will be promoted and organised there throughout the year (Matchday, Non-Matchday Sports and Non-Matchday Non-Sports).
The Board of Directors of Ticino Hospitality Group SA is chaired by Martin Blaser and comprises Dr Philippe Regazzoni (Vice-Chair), Emanuela Fuoco, Diego Caccavale, Federico Haas and Frank Wassermann. It is therefore a body comprising leading figures from the F.C. Lugano SA organisation and professionals from the catering and hospitality sectors, who bring with them proven expertise and experience at regional, national and international levels in their respective fields of activity. For the first two years, until the end of 2028, management will be entrusted to Wassermann & Co. AG, on the basis of an agreed two-year mandate.
The establishment of Ticino Hospitality Group SA represents a significant step in the development of F.C. Lugano SA and reflects the Club’s commitment to strengthening its corporate structure and consolidating its commercial activities.
Martin Blaser, Vice-Chairman and Delegate of the Board of Directors of F.C. Lugano SA: “We have championed and welcome with great satisfaction the launch of Ticino Hospitality Group SA, an initiative in which we firmly believe. The creation of a dedicated company allows us to lay solid foundations for realising the potential of catering at the AIL Arena and to develop new expertise in a sector that offers interesting prospects. The establishment of an independent company also gives us the strategic flexibility to support its growth over time, whilst also considering the possible entry of new shareholders should opportunities arise that are consistent with the project’s development.”
