TEN YEARS IN BLACK AND WHITE: FC LUGANO CELEBRATES VITTORIO BRUNI

January 24, 2026

Before kick-off of FC Lugano–FC Winterthur, the Club paid tribute to a key figure within the staff. On the pitch, Vittorio Bruni Prenestino, First Team Massage Therapist, was honoured for his 10 years of service with FC Lugano.

The award was presented by Vice-President and CEO Martin Blaser and Chief Sports Officer Sebastian Pelzer, who celebrated a journey marked by professionalism, dedication and a strong sense of belonging.

In a football world where everything is changing at an ever-increasing pace, the Club chose to highlight continuity and the human bond embodied by a staff member who, with expertise and daily commitment, has accompanied the group’s growth and FC Lugano’s recent history during years of profound transformation. A constant presence in a dressing room that has become his second home, Vittorio – known to everyone as “Vito” – knows every detail of the team and experiences its day-to-day life up close.

A significant milestone, celebrated in front of the Cornaredo crowd ahead of the match against FC Winterthur, for a special moment entirely dedicated to someone who, often away from the spotlight, makes a decisive contribution to the team’s journey.

Thank you, Vito, for ten years of work, passion and belonging.
