This afternoon, Wednesday 17 June, the draw took place in Nyon to determine the bianconeri’s first European opponent of the 2026/27 season. The bianconeri will face KF Dukagjini, a Kosovar side, in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.
The two-legged tie is scheduled for Thursday 23 and Thursday 30 July. The official dates and kick-off times for the two matches will be announced by UEFA by 26 June.
THE OPPONENT
Founded in 1958, KF Dukagjini represents the town of Klinë, in western Kosovo.
The team secured a place in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League by winning the Kosovo Cup, following a 2–1 victory over KF Ferizaj on 21 May. In the league, however, the Kosovars finished in fourth place.
For KF Dukagjini, this also marks a return to the European stage three years on from their participation in the 2023/24 UEFA Conference League preliminary rounds. On that occasion, the Kosovar club had progressed through the first round against Europa FC of Gibraltar, before being knocked out in the second round by HNK Rijeka.
Should they progress, the bianconeri will advance to the third qualifying round, with matches taking place on 6 and 13 August. The draw for Q3 is scheduled for Monday 20 July, prior to the second-round fixtures.
