On the weekend of October 17 and 18, FC Lugano welcomed participants to the city for the final of the first edition of the FC Lugano Golf Tour driven by Lugano Region, an initiative created to strengthen the link between the Club, the territory and the public beyond Gotthard.
After the three qualifying stages played in the Migros Golfparks of Oberkirch, Otelfingen and Holzhäusern-which had registered a total of more than two hundred participants-the top nine players gathered in Lugano to enjoy an experience of sport and local discovery.
During their stay, the final participants and their companions visited the AIL Arena Experience Center on the evening of Friday, October 17, experiencing firsthand a preview of what will be the future home of FC Lugano.
Sabato 18 ottobre, in condizioni climatiche ideali, si è disputata la finale dell’FC Lugano Golf Tour nella suggestiva cornice del Golf Club Lugano. I tre vincitori torneranno in città nel maggio 2026 per partecipare all’FC Lugano Golf Trophy, il tradizionale torneo di beneficenza organizzato annualmente dal Club.
Dopo l’aperitivo e la cerimonia di premiazione al ristorante del Golf Club Lugano, tutti i partecipanti e i loro accompagnatori hanno avuto, a conclusione del fine settimana, l’opportunità di assistere alla sfida di Brack Super League tra Lugano e Zurigo allo stadio di Cornaredo. La gara è terminata 1–0 per la squadra di Croci-Torti: un finale perfetto per un weekend di grande successo, molto apprezzato da tutti i presenti.
Il Golf Tour rappresenta un tassello importante nella collaborazione tra il Club e Lugano Region, con l’obiettivo di promuovere Lugano come destinazione attrattiva anche attraverso le emozioni del calcio e il valore esperienziale del turismo sportivo.
