La Swiss Football League, in collaboration with StadionGO, launches a new platform of carpooling designed for fans. The goal is to make travel to stadiums more sustainable, affordable and convivial.
As of now, HCL supporters can seek or offer rides to home and away games. In fact, traveling together makes it possible to reduce transportation costs, lower CO₂ emissions, ease traffic on match days, and experience the journey to the stadium in company.
HOW IT WORKS.
Through the platform, one can select the desired match and choose whether to offer a ride or search for an available one. Those who make their cars available can also indicate any pick-up points along the way, so as to facilitate other fans who are on the route. This makes it easier to share the journey with other fans.
REWARDS FOR ACTIVE USERS
The most active users on the platform between now and the end of December 2025 will have the chance to receive exclusive rewards, including:
- VIP tickets and complimentary tickets for league games
- jerseys signed by players
- official balls for the 2025/26 season
- gadgets and surprises related to the world of soccer
MORE SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY
Fan mobility accounts for a significant part of the environmental impact on match days. The new carpooling platform thus fits into the SFL's strategy to reduce the carbon footprint of matches, complementing other initiatives already in place such as the use of public transportation.
