VON BALLMOOS BLACK AND WHITE UNTIL 2029

FC Lugano is delighted to announce the permanent signing of David von Ballmoos, a Swiss goalkeeper born in 1994, who joined Cornaredo on 8 September on loan from BSC Young Boys. The option exercised by the Bianconeri ties the Bernese goalkeeper to FC Lugano for three seasons, until 30 June 2029.

Having come through the youth ranks of the Gialloneri, von Ballmoos has established himself as one of the leading goalkeepers in recent Super League seasons. With six league titles and two Swiss Cups to his name with Young Boys, von Ballmoos has made 10 appearances for Lugano, proving himself to be a goalkeeper of great character and reliability, whose performances have consistently lived up to expectations.
