Following the episodes featuring Anila Bytyqi, Antonella Albertini, Sabina Di Muro and Luisa Nascimento Sa, ‘Una Bella Storia’ continues – the video interview mini-series presented by UBS that offers an intimate look at the personal and sporting journeys of the players in the Women’s First Team.
The star of the fifth episode is Aline Oliva, a 17-year-old right winger who made the step up to the senior ranks last season and now balances her sporting career with her studies at the school for elite athletes in Tenero. Her story begins with her earliest memories of football school, the first shirt she wore in a tournament and a moment that remains special: her first match with the Swiss Under-15 national team, against Italy, which felt like the fulfilment of a dream built step by step.
The episode also highlights her bond with her older brother Jonas. It was by watching his training sessions and matches that Aline developed an interest in football, nurturing a passion from childhood that has grown ever stronger. This relationship extends beyond the pitch: together they create videos for social media showcasing freestyle and ball skills, turning technique and creativity into another form of self-expression.
Aline’s story is that of a young footballer who, as the youngest in the group, has managed to turn her initial fears into an opportunity for growth. Her daily interaction with more experienced teammates allows her to express herself, listen to advice and continue to improve, whilst also looking to the future: her dream of one day wearing the jersey of the Swiss national team’s first side and her desire to become a PE teacher, combining sport and her profession.
A Beautiful Story, presented by UBS, thus continues its journey within the Women’s First Team, giving a voice to the experiences, values and motivations behind every jersey.
