Last days of work in the Benidorm retreat for FC Lugano, that closes the week in Spain with a new high profile international test. In the morning of Friday the 9th of January, the Bianconeri took the field for the last friendly match before the official resumption of the championship, facing Viktoria Plzeň. At the end of the game, the team will come back to Lugano, thus officially starting the final preparation phase in sight of the Brack Super League.

A EUROPEAN LEVEL ADVERSARY
Viktoria Plzeň represents a particularly significant test bench. The Czech team currently occupies the fourth place in its own championship and is also a protagonist on the continental stage, where it is placed 14th (out of 36) in the UEFA Europa League classification. Although the national championship will not resume until February, the Plzeň club has a number of important European engagements in the coming weeks, including a clash with FC Porto on 22 January and a match against another Swiss side, FC Basel, on 29 January. A context that confirms the value of the test and the intensity of the adversary awaiting FC Lugano.
