FC Lugano is delighted to announce the extension of Ian Tiraboschi’s contract; he is one of the most promising young players in Ticino football. This new long-term deal with the 2010-born product of the bianconeri’s youth academy is a clear sign of FC Lugano’s commitment to investing in local young talent and to nurturing those players who, through their daily work, dedication and performances on the pitch, have earned the club’s trust.
As a testament to the high regard in which he is held, Ian Tiraboschi will take part in the first team’s summer training camp in Germany (5–11 July) and will therefore be at Mattia Croci-Torti’s disposal as the team prepares for the new season.
ILIJA MASLAROV ON LOAN TO RAPPERSWIL
In the same spirit, the Club announces that Ilija Maslarov, the first player from the bianconero youth sector to sign a professional contract with FC Lugano, has extended his agreement until 30 June 2028. At the same time, the Club announces that the player will continue his development path during the 2026/27 season on loan at FC Rapperswil-Jona, a team competing in the dieci Challenge League. FC Lugano strongly believes in his qualities and will follow his progress closely.
Through these decisions, the Club confirms its strategy of developing young talents formed within its own ranks, offering them opportunities to grow and establish themselves in professional football.
JASON PARENTE CONTRACT EXTENSION
The extension of Jason Parente’s contract also fits into this pattern. Having been called up to the first team as early as last season, the young bianconero has earned the club’s confidence and has signed a new deal valid for a further three seasons. Parente will also take part in the first team’s pre-season training and summer training camp in Germany, thereby continuing his development within FC Lugano’s sporting project.
