FC Lugano is taking part for the first time in Sportissima, the major cantonal event dedicated to sport, scheduled for Sunday 14 September at Parco Ciani in Lugano.
A DAY OF SPORT AND FUN
From 9.30 am to 5.00 pm, the public will be able to discover and try out over a hundred different sports, thanks to the event organised by the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Canton of Ticino. The event is free and open to everyone, with the aim of introducing families and young people to the world of sport.
FC LUGANO SUPPORTS WOMEN’S
FOOTBALL The bianconero stand will be set up in the green area of the Lido di Lugano (in the event of bad weather, at CPT Trevano – Gym F, from 09:30 to 13:00). Young girls will have the chance to try their hand at simple, fun activities, such as short exercises with a ball and cones, whilst parents can find out more about the U10F, U12F and U13F girls’ teams. The FC Lugano Academy is open to all interested girls, with no selection process or entry requirements: what matters is a passion for sport.

CELEBRATION Sportissima is an important gathering for the Ticino community and an opportunity to introduce more and more young people to sport and women’s football. The FC Lugano stand forms part of this event, offering families and girls a chance to get to know the club up close.
