FC Lugano is delighted to announce that it has signed its first professional contract with the young talent Kauan Santana. Born in 2010 in São Paulo, Brazil, Kauan has signed for the bianconeri until 30 June 2029.
Having arrived in Switzerland at the age of 11, Kauan began his footballing career at Rapid Lugano, before being selected to join Team Ticino’s U16 side. A quick and dynamic attacking winger, he stands out for his ability to take on opponents, his dribbling skills and a good eye for goal.
Over the course of last season, he made his mark with some impressive performances, demonstrating his quality, development and determination as part of the Bianconeri’s youth programme.
