FC Lugano is delighted to announce the contract renewal of Martim Alexandro Costa Marques, who will continue to wear the bianconero shirt and form part of FC Lugano’s sporting project until 30 June 2029.
Having arrived in Lugano in the summer of 2023 from Sporting Clube de Portugal, Marques has undergone significant development whilst wearing the bianconero colours, gradually establishing himself in professional football and confirming the qualities that had led the Club to invest in him. A left-footed left-back, blessed with technical ability and an attacking instinct, the Portuguese player has been able to put his strengths at the team’s disposal, whilst continuing to develop his potential over the course of the seasons.
This contract renewal reflects FC Lugano’s desire to build on a journey in which the club firmly believes. The club thus reaffirms its confidence in Martim’s qualities and his ability to continue to develop and contribute to the Bianconeri’s sporting project, working towards shared sporting objectives.
