Right from the early stages of its construction, the AIL Arena has aroused great curiosity and interest amongst supporters and the local community. This enthusiasm was confirmed during the Opening Weekend on 30 and 31 May, when over 10,000 people took the opportunity to visit the bianconeri’s new home. Now, just a few months after opening, FC Lugano is offering the public a new opportunity to discover the stadium up close through the AIL Arena Tour.
From Wednesday 21 October, a programme of guided tours will begin; in this initial phase, they will take place on two Wednesday afternoons each month. This is an opportunity to explore the most iconic areas of the AIL Arena and gain a different perspective on the day-to-day life of a modern stadium.
Accompanied by a guide, participants will be able to access some of the areas normally used by the team, the media, partners and supporters, including the touchline, changing rooms, the Mixed Zone, the Press Conference Room, the hospitality lounge, the supporters’ stand and the FC Lugano Official Store.
Guided tours, which last approximately 45–60 minutes, are limited to a maximum of 30 participants per group and will be conducted in Italian, although other languages can be requested.
On request, it is also possible to organise tours tailored for people with reduced mobility, as well as private tours for schools, organisations and groups, on dates and at times to be agreed with the Club.
PRICES AND BENEFITS FOR PARTICIPANTS
The AIL Arena Tour is priced at CHF 12.– for adults, CHF 10.– for FC Lugano members and CHF 8.– for under-16s and AVS/AI beneficiaries. Entry is free for children under the age of 7.
What’s more, the experience continues even after the tour: all participants will receive a voucher for a 10 per cent discount to be used at the FC Lugano Official Store and a 10 per cent discount on tickets for FC Lugano’s next home match at the AIL Arena.
