THE AIL ARENA EXPERIENCE CENTRE CLOSES ITS DOORS

July 24, 2026

On Saturday 25 July 2026, the AIL Arena Experience Centre (AAEC) at Piazza Cioccaro 3 in Lugano will officially close its doors; a venue that, in recent months, has served as an important meeting point for the Club, the fans, partners and the City of Lugano. A landmark that has illuminated the path leading FC Lugano into a new era, centred around its new home, the AIL Arena.

The AIL Arena Experience Centre has fulfilled the role assigned to it by the Club to perfection, contributing to its development. It has, in fact, enabled thousands of people to get a sneak preview of FC Lugano’s new home, offering an immersive experience and helping to bring the public closer to a project set to shape the future of both the club and the city.

In addition, the AAEC has hosted numerous initiatives, including events for partners, meetings with members and the launch of the 2026/27 season ticket campaign. It also played a key role in presenting and marketing the new stadium’s hospitality offering, enabling companies and interested parties to explore the various options available at first hand and to get a sneak preview of the exclusive experience that will characterise the new AIL Aena.

Martin Blaser, Vice-Chairman and Delegate of the Board of Directors: “For 14 months, the AIL Arena Experience Centre has been the gateway to our future. It allowed anyone wishing to ‘step inside’ the AIL Arena before its opening to get a hands-on feel for and see up close a venue that is now a splendid reality. A privileged showcase that proved a huge success, a one-of-a-kind preview that is unrivalled in the national sporting scene. FC Lugano would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited the AIL Arena Experience Centre and, in particular, to the partners who contributed to the success of this initiative through their support, presence and collaboration.”
