On Saturday 27 September, to coincide with the match against Grasshopper Club Zürich at Cornaredo (kick-off at 6.00 pm), the eighth edition of the #greenmatch will take place – the charity event that has become a well-established tradition for FC Lugano over the years.
As is customary, the bianconeri will take to the pitch in a special green kit designed for the occasion and dedicated to the Greenhope Foundation. The #greenmatch 2025 kit, designed for the match against Grasshopper, will be unveiled next week. The shirts will subsequently be auctioned off, with all proceeds going towards supporting the foundation’s charitable projects.
For Mattia Croci-Torti’s team, it will be vital to turn the #greenmatch into a day of celebration, with the aim of beating the Grasshoppers and securing three crucial points in front of the Cornaredo crowd.
Greenhope is a Swiss organisation that has been working with FC Lugano for some time and, for over ten years, has been bringing joy to children with cancer and their families, whilst also supporting young Swiss sporting talent.
