On the afternoon of Tuesday 19 May, the AIL Arena hosted an event exclusively for 1908 Lifetime Members, designed to offer a select group of supporters an exclusive preview of the bianconeri’s new home.
The Members took part in a private and particularly meaningful occasion, created to celebrate the bond with those who, through their support, accompany the Club in a special and lasting way.
FROM THE BOARD ROOM TO THE NEW BIANCONERI
HOME The afternoon began in the Board Room of the AIL Arena, where Martin Blaser, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of F.C. Lugano SA, welcomed the guests by presenting the new stadium, the main stages of construction and some of the technical features that make the facility one of the most important projects for the future of the Club and the city.
The discussion gave Lifetime Members the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the vision behind the AIL Arena, with the chance to ask questions and explore various aspects of the new facility.
A PREVIEW FILLED WITH EXCITEMENT AND SURPRISE
Following this, the guests enjoyed an aperitif inside the AIL Arena, in a convivial atmosphere that set the scene for the highlight of the day: a guided tour of the new arena.
Amidst surprise and excitement, the Lifetime Members were able to discover some of the venue’s most iconic areas, from the changing rooms to the gym, from the press room to the pitch, right through to the dugouts and the spaces that, from next season onwards, will form part of the Club’s daily life.
A PRIVILEGE FOR THOSE CLOSELY
INVOLVED WITH THE CLUB The event provided a valuable opportunity to reaffirm the value of FC Lugano Membership and, in particular, the programme dedicated to Lifetime Members: a community closely linked to the Club, exclusively involved in the most significant moments in the life of the bianconeri.
FC Lugano would like to thank all the Lifetime Members present for their participation and the support they have shown. For them, the visit to the AIL Arena was a special preview of the Opening Weekend, scheduled for Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May, when the bianconeri’s new home will open its doors to the public, the fans and the whole of Switzerland.
