The second edition of the FC Lugano Golf Tour driven by Lugano Region – the series of qualifying tournaments born out of a collaboration between the Club and Lugano Region to take the city of Lugano and the bianconeri colours beyond the Gotthard Pass – got off to the best possible start.
On Saturday 6 June, at the Migros Golfpark Holzhäusern, the first stage of the 2026 Tour took place. On a pleasant sunny day, 108 participants took part in the inaugural tournament, exceeding the number recorded in the previous edition.
THREE PASSES TO THE FINAL
On the Holzhäusern course, the participants competed for the first available places in the Grand Final of the FC Lugano Golf Tour driven by Lugano Region, scheduled for the autumn at the Golf Club Lugano. The three winners of the day thus secured their places for the final event in Ticino, the date of which will be confirmed following the publication of the Brack Super League’s new season calendar.
Following the successful start in Holzhäusern, the Golf Tour will continue on Saturday 13 June at the Migros Golfpark Oberkirch, before the final qualifying round scheduled for Saturday 27 June at the Migros Golfpark Otelfingen.
