FC Lugano has signed Léon Gervasini and Lorenzo Orsega, two promising talents from Ticino who came up through the Bianconeri youth academy, until 30 June 2029. Both born in 2010, the players are currently part of FC Lugano's U17 squad.
This double signing is further confirmation of the club's consistent and focused work in youth development, with a growing emphasis on nurturing local talent and fostering lasting ties with the club.
Léon Gervasini (20 September 2010), a midfielder who can also play in defence, is a member of the Swiss U16 national team and has completed his entire training in the FC Lugano youth sector. In 2025, he won the Swiss U15 Cup with Team Ticino Sottoceneri.
Lorenzo Orsega (22 November 2010) took his first steps in football with AC Arbedo-Castione. With Team Ticino Sopraceneri U15, he won the U15 championship in 2025. He is also a Swiss youth international, having played for the U15 and U16 national teams. He mainly plays on the left wing and stands out for his speed and outstanding attacking skills.
