F.C. Lugano SA is delighted to announce the start of its partnership with FLexGrass, which joins the bianconeri family as a Classic Partner. The agreement will run for two seasons (2026–27 and 2027–28).

HIGH-PERFORMANCE
SPORTS SYSTEM From a technical perspective, the new pitch at the AIL Arena has been designed and constructed as a high-performance sports system, combining mechanical stability, rapid drainage and professional agronomic management. The soil stratigraphy has been constructed in accordance with USGA and FIFA standards, featuring a draining sub-base comprising longitudinal drainage lines, a gravel carpet and a highly permeable sandy root zone.
The pitch package also incorporates the FLexAqua technology system, for uniform and automated irrigation, and the FLexHeat system, for controlling the temperature of the root zone during the most critical periods. The subsequent installation of the turf using the Vertix vertical injection system transformed the pitch into a hybrid turf, retaining approximately 95% natural grass and reinforcing it with synthetic fibres to ensure greater strength, durability and playing quality over time.
