With regard to Thursday’s FC Lugano v Maccabi Tel Aviv match (AIL Arena, 8.30 pm), FC Lugano wishes to reassure its supporters: all necessary security measures will be put in place for the match, through a coordinated operation tailored to the circumstances, with staff and facilities ready to respond should any incident arise.
FC Lugano is in constant contact with the relevant authorities and police forces and is monitoring the situation with them, so as to be able to adjust the security arrangements promptly should it be necessary. Furthermore, based on current information, no significant number of Israeli supporters is expected to attend.
The aim is to ensure that everyone at the stadium enjoys a safe and peaceful evening, during which they can experience the match in a spirit of mutual respect and in keeping with the values of sport.
