FC LUGANO STARRING AT PLAN ₿ FORUM 2025

October 27, 2025

The fourth edition of the Plan ₿ Forum, the international conference dedicated to Bitcoin, innovation and financial freedom organised by the City of Lugano and Tether, concluded with great public success. On Friday 24 and Saturday 25 October, the Palazzo dei Congressi welcomed thousands of visitors and over a hundred speakers from all over the world, confirming the growth of an event that has now established itself as a European benchmark for the cryptocurrency and digital technology sector.

FC Lugano also took part in the event, for the third consecutive year, as a partner and guest within the Forum’s exhibition area. At its stand, located in the centre of the Palazzo dei Congressi, the Club offered an interactive and engaging experience: thanks to VR headsets, visitors were able to immerse themselves in a virtual reality football simulation, whilst at the gaming stations they competed in the new EA FC 26 wearing the black and white colours. Rounding off the space were a branded table football table and a selection of official 2025/26 kits, including the special edition “Satoshi 21”, available for purchase in the Forum store.

Friday 24th saw a special appearance by footballers Mattia Bottani and Claudio Cassano, who took part in a friendly match on EA FC 26. The event attracted numerous onlookers and enthusiasts, offering fans and visitors the chance to take photos and share a relaxed moment with the two Bianconeri players.

Beyond the entertainment aspect, FC Lugano’s presence at the Plan ₿ Forum represented a valuable opportunity for visibility and networking for the Club, which was able to introduce itself to an international audience keen on innovation and new ways of connecting sport, technology and community. A positive experience that confirms the bond with Leading Partner Lugano’s Plan ₿ and the Club’s desire to contribute, even off the pitch, to the growth of a city increasingly looking towards the future.
