Dear fans, we have taken note of the numerous comments received regarding the organisational and operational shortcomings relating to the food and beverage service at the AIL Arena during the match between Switzerland and Malta.
We are deeply sorry for what happened and fully aware that the service provided fell far short of the standards that F.C. Lugano SA had hoped for and agreed upon with its catering partner.
The Club takes full responsibility for what happened and wishes to offer its sincere apologies to all the fans present: both the local crowd and those who travelled to Lugano from all over Switzerland.
The issues that have emerged have not gone unnoticed and will be the subject of careful review, with the aim of ensuring we are fully prepared for future events at the AIL Arena. The Club also reserves the right to issue a statement on the matter in the coming days.
