The draw held today at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon has determined FC Lugano’s potential route through the UEFA Conference League play-offs, the final qualifying round before the group stage.
Should they progress past NSÍ Runavík, the bianconeri will face the losing side from the UEFA Europa League Q3 two-legged tie between Maccabi Tel Aviv FC (Israel) and PFC CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria). The first leg would be played on 20 August at the AIL Arena, whilst the return leg is scheduled to take place away on 27 August 2026.
Before that, FC Lugano will be in action in the third qualifying round (Q3) two-legged tie against NSÍ Runavík: the first leg will be played on Thursday 6 August at 8.30 pm at the AIL Arena, whilst the second leg is scheduled for Thursday 13 August at 7.30 pm (Swiss time) in the Faroe Islands.
