On 24 and 25 October 2025, the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano will host a new edition of the Plan ₿ Forum, the international conference dedicated to Bitcoin, innovation and financial freedom, organised by the City of Lugano and Tether.
The event, one of the most important of its kind in Europe, will bring together leaders, entrepreneurs and prominent figures from the global technology and finance sectors, including Paolo Ardoino (CEO of Tether and Bitfinex), Elizabeth Stark (CEO and co-founder of Lightning Labs), Adam Back (CEO of Blockstream), Samson Mow (founder of JAN3) and the Mayor of Lugano, Michele Foletti. Two days of meetings, panels and workshops in which the city will once again become a focal point for discussion on the digital economy and cryptocurrencies.
Once again this year, FC Lugano will be present as a partner and guest, confirming a well-established collaboration with the Lugano’s Plan ₿ initiative. Within the Club’s exhibition space, visitors will be able to enjoy an interactive football-themed experience: thanks to VR headsets, they can immerse themselves in a virtual reality football match, whilst at the gaming stations they can play the brand-new EA FC 26 whilst sporting the black-and-white colours. There will also be an FC Lugano-branded table football table, designed for friendly competition in a fun and sociable atmosphere.
The Plan ₿ Forum store will also stock a selection of the official 2025/26 match shirts, alongside the special edition “Satoshi 21”, created to celebrate the synergy between sport, innovation and digital culture.
FC Lugano’s participation in the Plan ₿ Forum represents a new step in the Club’s journey towards embracing innovation and emerging technologies, confirming its commitment to actively contributing to the development of a Lugano that is increasingly dynamic, international and forward-looking.
SATOSHI SPRITZ: MEETING AT THE AIL ARENA EXPERIENCE CENTRE
The eve of the Plan ₿ Forum will be enlivened by ‘Satoshi Spritz Lugano’, an event open to the whole city that combines conviviality and innovation. Scheduled for Thursday 23 October, the evening will take place across four locations in the city centre, each linked to a partner of the Lugano’s Plan ₿ project, with themed drinks and special merchandise.
FC Lugano is delighted to announce that one of the official venues will be the AIL Arena Experience Centre, which will welcome fans, residents and enthusiasts in an informal and convivial atmosphere for the occasion.
All FC Lugano Membership holders are invited to attend and will receive a free Spritz Bianconero, for a symbolic toast to sport, innovation and community. Participants will also receive an exclusive gift.
