A car journey, a few questions, the view of Lake Ceresio and a new season just around the corner. Thanks to our partnership with Official Car Partner AUTORS SA, Mattia Croci-Torti climbed aboard a brand-new Renault Rafale to take us on a special journey from the AIL Arena to the Roque Maspoli Sports Centre in Caslano, the venue for FC Lugano’s pre-season training sessions.
During the journey, the bianconeri manager shared his feelings, expectations and thoughts on the resumption of training in a light-hearted and candid interview. “There’s always enthusiasm when we start again,” explained Croci-Torti, speaking about returning to work after the summer break. “There’s a real desire to see each other again, to get back on the pitch and to prepare as best we can for what lies ahead.”
The new season brings with it plenty of new developments, starting with the bianconeri’s new home and a sporting journey that will take shape day by day. Amidst training sessions, daily work and objectives to be set, Lugano is approaching its first official fixtures with its usual attention to detail. “We know it’s going to be a challenging season,” added the manager. “We’ll need to be ready, working hard right from day one.”
The conversation also included some more personal moments, featuring memories, habits and interesting facts about everyday life. It was a different way to get to know Croci-Torti better, off the pitch but always with his sights set on his Lugano side.
