As part of the adjustments to the "FC Lugano 2029 Project" communicated internally last Monday, March 31, 2025, we are pleased to inform that we have transferred the operational responsibility (Project Owner) of the "Digital transformation" to Romano Caviezel effective immediately, with a 50% warrant.
As CFO from 1995 to 2002, Romano Caviezel helped develop the Ticketcorner Group from a start-up to a transnational ticketing organization. As CFO of the Swiss subsidiary of the Japanese company SMC Pneumatik AG, he supported the introduction of an ERP system and the establishment of European financial consolidation. In 2009 he returned to Ticketcorner as CFO/COO and oversaw the reorganization and digital transformation of the Group. Since 2019 he has been Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) as well as a member of the Executive Committee of ZSC/GCK Lions and Swiss Life Arena, for whose organizational and digital transformation he will be responsible until the end of April 2025.
The operational responsibility (Project Owner) of the second section "AIL Arena" will remain in the hands of Philippe Siffert.
