On Saturday, Sept. 27, the match against Grasshopper Club Zürich in Cornaredo (kickoff at 6 p.m.) will feature theeighth edition of the #greenmatch, the charity event that has been an established tradition for FC Lugano for many years now.
As is customary, the Bianconeri will take the field in a special green uniform made for the occasion and dedicated to the Greenhope foundation. The #greenmatch 2025 kit, designed for the challenge with Grasshopper, will be unveiled next week. The jerseys will later be auctioned off and the entire proceeds will be donated to support the foundation's charitable projects.
For Mattia Croci-Torti's team, it will be crucial to turn the #greenmatch into a full day of celebration, with the goal of imposing themselves on the grasshoppers and winning three very important points in front of the Cornaredo crowd.
Greenhope is a Swiss organization that has been collaborating with FC Lugano for quite some time and has been giving moments of joy to children with cancer and their families for more than a decade, while at the same time supporting young talents in Swiss sports.
