The large HCL family joins the condolences of their son Marco, a former Lugano player, Valeria, family members and friends on the death of Flavio Lodigiani, the historic FC Lugano warehouseman. A life in HCL, a boundless love for the colors of our club, passed away today.
For more than 20 years, alongside Valeria he took care of the equipment, at home as well as away. He entered the hearts of all coaches, became friends with many players. Memorable were the bocce games played in the company of fan 'Meo' Grassi, Mattia Bottani and former HCL player Matteo Tosetti.
We rewarded him and his beloved Valeria at the beginning of last season, so that for once they could benefit from the grateful embrace of a stadium and a society to which they gave so much that saying thank you did not make the sense of gratitude of that day so moving.
"When the passion is so great, when the affection is so strong, it does not matter how long you have been in Cornaredo, serving your FC Lugano. More than the years, more than the hours spent on behalf of the colors you loved, what makes your HCL journey unique and unrepeatable is the love that made you arrive in Cornaredo and that made you stay a lifetime there. A life dedicated to the good of FC Lugano."
Then your FC Lugano said thank you, dear Loda. Today, in sorrow, we bid you farewell and offer heartfelt condolences to those who, like us, shared your earthly path.
