Following an afternoon spent in Magadino with the girls from AS Gambarogno, Girls Training also visited Balerna in recent days. As part of the initiative promoted by UBS and linked to the activities of the Swiss Football League, the Club took part in another special training session alongside SC Balerna’s women’s team.
The session was led by Mattia Croci-Torti who, as a native of Balerna, enjoyed an afternoon of particular significance, joined on the pitch by players Mattia Bottani, Claudio Cassano, Martim Marques and Mattia Zanotti. Through drills, advice and moments of interaction, the young players of SC Balerna Women’s had the opportunity to enjoy a formative and engaging experience alongside the stars of the Bianconeri first team.
The event in Balerna was also part of a project designed to bring more and more girls into football, fostering direct contact with the professional world and fuelling enthusiasm, participation and passion for the sport.
